Wensleydale Show has a long tradition of showcasing the very best of local livestock, horticulture, and handicrafts. This year’s main ring attraction was ‘Ben Atkinson & His Action Horses,’ which were rather spectacular showcasing Ben’s mastery over his horses.
We saw new and old accountancy clients alike join us for a brew and WDS cake. It was great to have a chat with them mostly about farming and the hot topics this year seemed to be Inheritance Tax, Pension Planning, and Investments, and of course who had won the sheep classes.
It's always great to get out of the office and support these local traditional dales’ shows, which wouldn’t happen without the hard work of the show’s committee.
