What did you do before you worked at WDS: Before starting at WDS I was Manager at Leeds based Accountancy firm.  My role mainly consisted of managing a portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to larger group companies.

I also attended regular management and board meetings and was the main contact for my portfolio of clients.

I was involved in the training and development of staff, where I brought in and hosted many of the monthly lunch and learns.  I was also the ICAEW training councillor, supporting ICAEW trainees through their studies.

I was heavily involved in reviewing processes and procedures too.  In my previous role, I was involved in a range of various projects.

What benefit will our clients receive from knowing you?

Having worked in accountancy for nearly 20 years, I have picked up the technical knowledge required to advise clients and a variety of issues.

I pride myself in being friendly and approachable.  I believe it is important to build good client relationships and be available when needed.

What is something you’re proud of?

I have started walking more.  I have recently completed Scarfell Pike and foolishly agreed to climb Ben Nevis in early August!  Having recently joined the gym.  I am hoping it will go some way to helping me get to the top!
